This weekend the Battle Systems team are heading to the UK Games Expo 2026 at the NEC in Birmingham, and we’re looking forward to another busy weekend of games, terrain, demos, and catching up with the community.
You’ll find us at Stand 4-622 all weekend.
This year is especially exciting for us because it’ll be the first chance for people to sit down and play Core Space: Evolution. We’ll have two demo tables running throughout the weekend, so if you’ve been following the announcements and wondering how it plays on the table, come and give it a go.
Alongside that we’ll also be running Maladum demos across the weekend, plus plenty of terrain displays on the stand for people looking for inspiration for their own tables and campaigns.
We know not everyone can make it to the show, so our 10% show discount will also be available on the website during the event. That said… if previous years are anything to go by, there’s usually a last-minute stand-only deal or two that mysteriously appears once the weekend gets going, so it’s always worth stopping by if you’re at the show.
And for anyone hoping to meet Colin, he’ll be around the stand around lunchtime on Saturday.
Mostly though, we’re just looking forward to seeing everyone again. UKGE is always one of the highlights of the year for the team, and getting to see what people are building, playing, painting, and creating with our terrain is a huge part of why we love attending.
If you can’t make it this weekend, keep an eye on the Core Space: Evolution BGG Page and the Core Space Universe Facebook Group. We’re sure plenty of photos, demo impressions and weekend stories will start appearing there over the next few days.
Safe travels to everyone heading to the show and if you’re attending, come and say hello!
