Tabletop Terrain

Battle Systems' gorgeous terrain is suitable for many 28-35mm scale miniatures games and RPGs. It is fully modular, and supplied flat-packed on high-quality, high-density card. And best of all? It is printed in full colour on both sides so no painting required!

Whether you are eyeing this beautiful set simply for its collection of bad-ass terrain or you’re pining for a new miniatures game to take on, Core Space will leave you gobsmacked. This box is the real deal and one of the most pleasurable experiences I’ve had thus far in 2019.

Geek and Sundry

If you want some miniature terrain that assembles quickly, that looks great thanks to its detailed artwork, and can fill a gaming table on a budget, then I highly recommend Battle Systems.

Fabulous game, ticks all the boxes for those who want an RPG with leveling up and telling a story, but want the session to unfold in an AI controlled skirmish game. 5* from me.

These card buildings are impressive due to the fact that there is little or no painting required, the quality of the card used is excellent and the clarity of the printing process is exceptional. A great idea, excellently executed and a real bonus for the ‘time poor’ hobbyist.

Wargames Illustrated

Been tempted by this kind of terrain for a while now, getting it with miniatures, rules and play aids for essentially the price of the terrain only is spectacular.

Tabletop Terrain FAQs

What is tabletop terrain?
Tabletop terrain is the scenery you play across in miniatures games – walls, buildings, furniture and props that give your table cover, line-of-sight and atmosphere. Battle Systems makes modular tabletop terrain for 25-35mm miniatures that arrives pre-printed in full colour and is ready to use without any painting.
Do I need to paint Battle Systems terrain?
No. Every piece is printed in full colour and ready to play straight from the box, with no painting or priming. You punch the high-density cardboard pieces out and clip them together, and the main build needs no glue. A few smaller components, such as barrels, do need gluing, and you may choose to glue small items like chests to keep them together.
Is the terrain modular and reusable?
Yes. The majority of our terrain sets are fully modular, so the same set rebuilds into a different layout every game. It also folds flat for storage, unlike fixed resin or MDF scenery that takes up shelf space glued in one shape.
What settings does Battle Systems terrain cover?
There are four core ranges dungeon, sci-fi, fantasy and urban apocalypse. These include modular sets, set-piece feature buildings and scatter terrain props. The ranges share a connection system, so pieces from different sets combine on the same table.
What games is the terrain compatible with?
It is built for 25-35mm miniatures, so it suits most popular tabletop games, including Dungeons & Dragons, Frostgrave and Stargrave, and works as terrain suitable for Warhammer 40K, Kill Team and Necromunda. It is also used with our own board games, Core Space and Maladum.
