Sci-Fi Terrain FAQs

What is sci-fi terrain?
Sci-fi terrain is the scenery used to build futuristic and spaceship-interior tables for miniatures games – corridors, rooms, bulkheads, doors and consoles. Battle Systems sci-fi terrain is modular and printed in full colour, so you build a starship interior with no painting needed.
Can I build a spaceship interior with it?
Yes. The range is designed for exactly that – modular corridors, rooms and bulkheads connect into a complete deck plan, and reconfigure into a different ship every game. Doors and walls give real line-of-sight blocking for boarding-action play.
What sci-fi scatter terrain is available?
Sci-fi scatter props include crates, consoles, storage lockers, terminals, force fields and med-bay beds. They are standalone pieces that add cover, objectives and atmosphere to any sci-fi table, not only Battle Systems boards.
Do I need to paint or build the terrain?
No. Every piece is pre-printed in full colour and clips together with no painting or priming. The main build needs no glue and folds flat for storage, ready in minutes. A few smaller components, such as crates, do need gluing, and you may choose to glue small items, like the reactor, to keep them together.
What games is sci-fi terrain suitable for?
It is built for 25-35mm miniatures and suits sci-fi TTRPGs, skirmish and wargames, including Stargrave, Spelljammer and our own board game Core Space, and works as terrain suitable for Warhammer 40K, Kill Team and Necromunda.
