Last week we announced our upcoming Fantasy Wargames Terrain Kickstarter – you can check our our previous blog HERE.
All of Colin’s time recently has gone into painstakingly adding all the fine detail to the new buildings, from the basic textures, to adding all the immersive detail, to precisely working out all the cuts and slots so everything fits together.
Last week we asked you what you wanted to see and you had some amazing ideas – the workload to make everything on that list could have been quite overwhelming! Luckily we already had about two thirds of it in the plan :-). We’ve taken the best of the rest and built it into our schedule over the next few weeks so we can have the designs ready for the Kickstarter.
What you’ve seen so far is just part of it. Even when the KS is underway we won’t stop working – we’ve got so much we want to get done!
Another thing that’s really important for our terrain is that it can be used in many different ways for all sorts of gaming.
Firstly these new fantasy buildings are modular just like our existing terrain ranges. The wall sections fit together with our plastic clips in any combination, so you don’t have to always build everything the way we’ve done in the pictures. If you want to have a go at building Ankh Morpork’s Tower of Art, go ahead!
Secondly these buildings have fully detailed interiors. The wargamers out there may not use them but will appreciate the strength that the interior floors give to the buildings. The skirmish gamers and RPG players on the other hand will be able to make full use of this feature. The roofs and upper floors lift right off so you can access the insides.
If you want to see this terrain in person before the Kickstarter, we will have it on display at UK Games Expo this weekend. You can come and see us on stand 1-1034. As well as the new terrain we will also have deals on our existing ranges and demos of Core Space along with all the latest releases!

You have made some good points there. I checked on tthe web for
more imfo about the isxsue and found most individuals will go
along ith your views on this site.

Looks fantastic. I would like to see a wooden tower and a gateway so the village elders can lock up the village at night. An Inn to quench the thirst of weary adventurers, a smithy and a store to buy provisions for your next adventure.
If possible, a few new style dungeon sheets to upgrade my Dungeon KS. I have plenty of accessories, so please less for the new KS.

Looks fabulous. Personally, I’d like to see some Middle-Earth style buildings.. 🙂 And most of all, I hope you will make a fantasy game.. 🙂
